Science & Movement

Sometimes science concepts can seem quite abstract for students.  Integrating movement into the classroom is a great way to study new or intangible concepts for all grade levels.  Movement helps to improve students' memory and concept connection,  increase student interest and gets students exercising.  Explore below for example lesson plans of how movement can help students understand how molecules move in the solid, liquid and gas states, how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flows through the human heart, and about different animal habitats.
