Hello
I am a military spouse, and a recent graduate from Michigan State University, having received a Masters of Arts in Education. I attended the University of Michigan for my undergraduate education degree, concentrating in science and mathematics. After graduation, I served in the Army as an engineer officer for five years, and am now excited to head back into the classroom.
I currently live in Georgia, but grew up in Michigan. We are constantly moving, since my husband is an active duty officer. I have learned to love the opportunities that come with adapting to new environments. I enjoy spending time with my family, running, coffee, traveling, reading, and science of course!

Below you can explore my "LinkedIn" page, and photographs of my academic and professional life, science in my everyday life, and my many travels.
I have been married for 11 years, and our children are 8 months, 5 years and 10 years old.
My Academic & Professional Life...
Here you can see me at the Michigan State University School of Education, graduating from the University of Michigan, in action during my student teaching, working as a classroom volunteer, and my time in the Army.
Science in My Everyday Life...
I enjoy science even outside the classroom. Here you can see me with an active volcano in Nicaragua, searching for fossils on Lake Michigan, viewing a solar eclipse, and visiting various museums, gardens and nature preserves. Our family is committed to being explorers and lifelong learners together.
My Travels...
I have visited over 30 countries, and lived in Germany for 4 years. Explore pictures from a few of our travels- Barcelona, Berlin, Paris, London, Venice, Athens, Amsterdam, Prague, Brussels and Nicaragua. I believe that learning about the world around us is incredibly important.
